Throughout my 18 years in the fitness industry as a trainer, nutrition
consultant and motivational coach, I have noticed that some people who
start a nutrition and exercise program give up very easily after
hitting the first obstacle they encounter. If they feel the slightest
bit of discouragement or frustration, they will abandon even their
biggest goals and dreams.

You don't have to do cardio to lose fat, but cardio machines can be
helpful for boosting your metabolism and burning more fat.
And if you use interval training, you can get more results than if you did traditional aerobic cardio. But that's another story for another time. Let's take a look at which machines burn the most calories and which ones are worth your time.

Imagine that you go to the gym and workout and are around 100% intensity.
Now imagine that you BOTH go to the gym and workout and are around 100% intensity and it carries over into other aspects of your life (sleeping, eating, etc).

The Glycemic Index ranks foods on how they affect the blood glucose levels. It measures the amount of increase in your blood glucose levels two to three hours after eating.
The Glycemic Index shows how quickly a single food will turn into blood glucose on a scale of 100. Pure glucose is given a value of 100.
The Glycemic Index was created with the diabetic in mind.
